Emma's Place to Close

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Emma’s Place for Exceptional Children will close this Friday. Unfortunately, our enrollment never met the minimum we needed to cover expenses. In all our planning, the possibility that we would not meet our enrollment needs was never considered. For those of you who did come we will be eternally grateful.

Our dream was to provide a place where kids of all ability ranges and ages could gather for fun, support, and social interaction. To that end, we met our goal. Many new friendships were formed, kids of all ages and abilities learned from each other and new skills were gained. Our amazing staff made all this possible. Without exception, every staff person at Emma’s Place loved and wanted the best for our kids. Not one of them took an “easy road”, they were always encouraging the kids to try new things, get out of their comfort zone and expand their skill sets.

Our hearts are broken but we will always treasure the time we had with a beautiful dream.

Thank you,

Heather and Paul Barboza
